- Mobile research

- Online research
- Research conducted online, in which participants log in on their own time or at an appointment time. Online research can be video-based (via web cam) or text-based (via keyboard or touchpad).
- Qualitative research vs. quantitative research
- Qualitative market research uses a smaller sample size with open-ended questions to understand the "whys" and "hows." Quantitative research uses a larger sample with close-ended questions resulting in numeric data.
